Born Ahmad Jawid Sharif Durrani, is a popular Afghan pop singer currently residing in Bonn, Germany. He has released six albums (as of 2009) that have gained popularity as well as critical acclaim. According to his official website his music has been influenced, by his mentor and his famous uncle Mr. Habib Sharif. He is fluent in Pashtu, Dari, along with German, has sufficient English and Hindi knowledge.
